Student in grades 1 through 8 attend Mass at 9 A.M. in church (the the event of bad weather, the Mass is in the school gym). Each month, a different grade is involved in the service. Younger students (grades 1 & 2) are accompanied by their upper class "buddies." Kindergarten students join us later in the school year. Parents are always welcome!

Students have gym once a week on a designated day. Students wear their gym uniforms and sneakers to school. From October 15 - April 15, uniform sweat suits must be worn over the gym shorts and shirts.

Meetings are held every other month beginning in September. Meetings generally consist of a speaker (or topics important to parents) followed by a brief business meeting to keep you abreast of current events and programs.
The H & S Association plans and organizes social events (i.e. Family Valentine Dance, Skating Parties), and also fund raising activities (i.e. Christmas Kits, Mother's Day Plant Sale) throughout the school year. It is only through the active participation of our parents that our association can be successful, so please volunteer whatever time you can! Membership is $5.00 a family and is collected at the beginning of the school year. As an added membership incentive, a tuition raffle for $250 is held at each general meeting, you must be present to win. Also, eighth grade children of currents members are eligible to compete in an essay contest for two $1000 scholarships to the Catholic high school of their choice.

students who forget their lunch must report to the office to get a slip for a Home and School Lunch slip. Parents will be contacted if students consistently forget their lunch.

Children visit the library once a week on a designated day. Books are normally loaned out for one week.

Held during school hours. Children in grades 1 through 8 form a procession from the school to the church (weather permitting). Children must wear their winter school uniform, with the exception of the third graders, who wear their Communion outfits, the sixth graders who wear their Confirmation robes, and the eighth graders who wear their graduation robes.

Held at lunch every Wednesday. The pizza will cost $1.75 per slice. Teachers request the money be sent in on Tuesday in an envelope.

For every $50.00 purchased a tuition voucher worth $1.00 is given. These vouchers can be used in $25.00 increments towards tuition for our grade school and Archdiocesan high schools. Script can
be purchased before and after Masses and is also sold in the rectory Monday through Friday - 9:30 AM - 4:30 PM. The complete list of participating stores is published periodically in our church bulletin. If you have any questions concerning the script program, please call the rectory @ 215-757-7700.

Soft pretzels are sold every day in grades K through 8 or your child may bring in his/her own snack. All kindergarten students bring in their own snack.

Information is sent home two weeks prior. A few examples are Hamburger/Cheeseburger Day and Pizza Hut Day. Please remember to send in a drink and dessert/snack as they are NOT included with the food. Please send in money and order form in an envelope by the due date. Restaurants need three days notice, no late order will be accepted!

Held near the end of the school year, the day consists of organized games and relays coordinated by Miss Hart. The day begins with a theme parade and "pep rally" in the school parking lot where each grade entertains us with their special song. The students then walk down to the field where "the games begin." Every child has a chance to participate and all are given a special treat (usually water ice).
Parents are invited to attend.

If for a SERIOUS reason, your child will not be going home as he/she normally does, please send in a note explaining the change (i.e. Mary Student will be picked up as a card rider instead of taking the bus home). "Going to Johnny's house to play" is not a legitimate excuse to change buses.

In the event of snow, you will NOT receive a phone call. Please check WBCB - 1490 AM, Lower Bucks Cable Channel 15, or call Courier Call 215-949-4070 ext. 1755 for information on dismissal. Do not call School; phone lines need to remain open for communication with the district transportation offices. You will only receive a phone call in the event of unforeseen closures, (i.e. Power failures, heat or water problems).

Held in the fall to raise money for our school. Each student solicits pledges for walking the distance. The children walk through the neighborhood surrounding the school. Parents and younger siblings are always welcome to join in! The money raised is used for school improvements (e.g. painting the cafeteria, air conditioning the cafeteria, upkeep of the classrooms, new programs, technology).
