Religion

Students will learn about Jesus, the Beatitudes, Commandments, the Corporal and Spiritual
Works of Mercy, Reconciliation, Prayer, and the Liturgical Year - including the seasons, saints and their feast days and the holy days of obligation.

ILA

For Reading and Writing we work on the following skills:

Reading - we emphasize selection vocabulary and reading comprehension through skills and strategies. We identify literary elements.	Writing - We edit sentences. We learn how to write a descriptive paragraph.	Poetry - we learn how to write a haiku, a quatrain, a limerick and a simile poem.
